Author, excellentologist and consultant C. David Crouch arms readers with the tools for building a life of joy, fulfillment and significance in his book, “The Excellent Experience: A Blueprint for Organizational, Team, and Individual Success” (published 2013).
Originally from Morganton, NC, Crouch recalls his first excellent experience while playing the role of Jesus in Freedom High School’s production of Godspell in 1975. “Ed Grady, drama teacher and director of the production, created an excellent experience for all of us that spring,” says Crouch. “It was his leadership that made it possible for excellence to emerge.” Since then, Crouch has devoted his life to the search for excellence and has captured the results of that research in his book.
“The Excellent Experience” provides a model for creating excellence that resembles building a house. There are four main sections – the raw materials, the foundation, the structure and the roof.
“You are uniquely designed for a specific purpose,” Crouch tells readers. “The key is to find that purpose and pursue it with passion. This book will help you discover your purpose and become excellent in that which you are uniquely designed to do. Excellence creates a life that matters!”
